Humans.ai Friction
The Friction incentivized testnet is a set of competitive tasks that validators can participate in to get ready, educate themselves, and gain points before the Humans.ai mainnet.
The Humans blockchain network will be validated and secured throughout the course of 3 (three) missions that make up the testnet, each of which will test a different part of that process. During each phase, points are gained by finishing technical and social tasks.
Competition task winners also receive additional points. All validators will receive technical support from the Humans team via our Discord channel, weekly updates with crucial information posted to our updates page, and announcements for the beginning of each mission.
ELI5
During testnet, this website, the #friction-testnet channel on our Discord server, and our official tweets pointing to either of these two sources will serve as the ultimate authority.
There are 3 missions on the testnet.
There are only 75 participants selected for the testnet! (50 applicants selected to be active, while 25 will be put on a waitlist and admitted later if some of the initial lot are disqualified).
Task completion results in the awarding of mission points that will be converted into mainnet $HEART tokens.
One node per participant is the maximum accepted (person or entity). Perpetrators will be banned from participation.
KYC/AML is necessary.
What we're looking to achieve.
Top talent from around the world is who we want to collaborate with. The path to a powerful network is through a diversified network of validators.
Participate in network genesis events, governance, emergency upgrading, and maintaining the Humans.ai chain's safety.
Get validators ready for the mainnet. Get points while learning the specifics of managing a node for the mainnet.
Each of the 3 (three) missions will run from April 21st until June 2nd 2023, lasting a total of one week per mission. The Humans.ai team will take one week between missions to assess the outcomes and set up the following one.
Mission 1: Launch
This mission is dedicated to letting people know Friction testnet has started and configuring the validator setup.
Mission 2: Cruise
The main focus of this mission is testing jailing, simulating and performing emergency updates and testing network performance under load conditions.
Mission 3: Encounter
The main focus of this mission is testing staking, undelegating/redelegating and voting on a governance proposal.
We advise keeping an eye on this page to ensure smooth technical sailing by keeping you updated on everything testnet. Information on upgrades, security patches, and other urgent issues may be covered in these updates.
Each participant with a valid node ID will have their task submission form for the technical and social tasks judged. Throughout this process, we aim to be transparent and are ready to provide clarification where necessary. Please ask any questions in the Discord channel dedicated to the Friction Incentivized Testnet.
Validator data collection: After configuring your node, a pointer to our database is provided that will be used to collect validator metrics and verify tasks have been done. This activity's data will be kept in a cloud service that Humans.ai has access to.
Social Content Submission: The task submission form will accept links to content-based tasks, including links to tweets, blogs, articles, or other social media information. A member of the Humans.ai team will go to the given link to confirm the work was finished. Twitter posts/Twitter threads are examined by checking the participant's handle and that the messaging is consistent with the task's stated goals. Submissions of content must adhere to the mission's assignment or prompt and range in length from 250 to 500 words. Content tasks are intended to highlight your role as a validator and to address questions from other community members.
Competition Submission: Throughout all three missions of the Friction Incentivized Testnet, these tasks will be available to both active and waitlist participants for submissions. For each task, we will outline the requirements and submission procedure.
Claiming Rewards
Need for KYC/AML: Your identity documents are not stored by Humans.ai. By using Blockpass, participants in the incentive network must go through the KYC/AML review procedure. Identification documents are kept on the Blockpass website of our third-party provider.
Distribution of Prizes: Based on points collected for successfully completing social, technical and competition tasks during each of the testnet's three missions, incentives are distributed. We will deliver the incentives to the registered participant's node ID once nodes are qualified to be added to the Humans.ai mainnet and other necessary conditions have been met. This gives participants the option to stake any incentive tokens they get. Your node's award acceptance procedure will be discussed on Discord.
Each mission will provide three (3) kinds of tasks for validators to complete.
Social tasks
Mission points are earned by producing material that includes video tutorials, Medium posts and Twitter threads
Technical tasks
Mission points for this category are earned by performing the technical actions request by our team. These can be voting on proposals, performing emergency upgrades, sending logs and many more.
Competition tasks
Mission points are earned by creating tools such as blockchain explorers, dashboards, validator setup scripts and more which will share a common pool of rewards for each task.
In order to acknowledge involvement in the various stages of the incentivized testnet, Humans.ai is allocating up to 0.25% of Total $HEART tokens supply as a general measure of compensation.
